Former Indian Football Captain Extended Support to Sikkim & Nagaland

Shri Bhaichung Bhutia Padma Shri, Arjuna Award Winner And Former Captain Of India Football Team, extended financial Contributes To Surubuto Sub- Division Task Force under Zunbeboto District, Nagaland to fight against Covid19 Pandemic.

The Solidarity And Support Extended To The Naga Citizen During This Difficult Time, Clearly Shows His Concerns For Humanity And Inherent Leadership.

Member of the task force Hotoshe Sema Awomi said, Bhutia’s gesture would definitely boost the moral of the task force and the people in the area to fight against the pandemic.

In March 2020, Bhaichung Bhutia has also extended his support shelter to migrant worker in Sikkim to fight against Covid-19.

When the lockdown was impose there was huge number of people who we desperate to return home, Bhaichunga Bhutia helped them.

The people who are affected the most during the lockdown are migrant workers. There was a huge queue in Sikkim border yesterday. I’ve got a new unfinished building in Gangtok (Lumsey, Tadong). It should accommodate about 100 people,” Bhutia told PTI.
